Why eligibility is decided at the withdrawal stage
Most casinos will not stop you when you activate a bonus. The system credits the bonus funds, you play and work through the wagering. The real check comes later, when you request a payout and the verification team takes a close look at your account.
If they find at that point that you did not meet the eligibility conditions, they can cancel the bonus along with any winnings from it. Or they may refund only your original deposit. That is why it pays to go through the eligibility rules before your first deposit, not after a week of play.
At Dukat.bet you can choose between four separate mechanics: Slots Bonus, Live Casino Bonus and Instant Bonus (each 500% up to 3,000 EUR + 15% Cashback), plus 15% Cashback with no welcome bonus. Each has its own terms, so check eligibility for the one you are picking. You will find a map of the offers on the Dukat.bet bonuses page.
Below we walk through clauses that are common across the industry. For Dukat.bet, only the official wording applies.
Age 18+ and ID verification are not a formality
Real-money gambling is strictly for adults, meaning people aged 18 and over. There are no exceptions to this rule, and the casino checks it against your documents.
Identity verification (KYC, short for ‘know your customer’) usually covers three things: a photo ID, proof of address such as a bank statement or utility bill, and sometimes proof of your payment method. The casino may also ask for a selfie holding your ID.
For bonuses, one thing matters most: the details in your profile must match your documents. A different name, a typo in your date of birth or an old address can hold up a payout for days. Fill in your profile accurately as soon as you register.
It is worth getting verified before you want to withdraw. Some casinos even recommend doing it right after your first deposit.
One bonus per person, household, IP address or device
This clause causes more misunderstandings than any other. It is standard in the industry for a welcome bonus to be available only once, and not just per person, but also per household, address, IP address or device.
In practice, if two people living in the same flat open accounts and both activate a welcome bonus, the second claim may be rejected. That applies even when they really are two different people using their own money. Sharing a laptop or a phone is just as risky.
Illustrative example (these are not Dukat.bet terms — check them in the official rules): A brother and sister play over the same home Wi-Fi. The sister activates her bonus on Monday, the brother on Wednesday. If the rules contain a ‘one bonus per household’ clause, the brother’s bonus and any winnings from it may be cancelled when he tries to withdraw.
Whether Dukat.bet uses this clause, and in what form, you can only find out from the official rules. If several of you live together, ask support in advance and save their reply.
A second account held by the same person is a separate matter. Casinos deal with that strictly almost without exception.
First deposit, later deposits and the order of your choices
Welcome offers across the industry are usually tied to the first deposit. If you deposit and do not activate the bonus, you may lose your entitlement, because your second deposit is no longer your first.
The order matters too. At Dukat.bet, the three 500% welcome offers and the Cashback with no welcome bonus are separate mechanics, each with its own terms. Normally you pick one route. If you go for cashback without a bonus, do not assume you can add a welcome bonus later.
So check three questions. Does the bonus have to be activated before the deposit, during it, or within a certain time afterwards? Is the offer valid only for a brand-new account? And can the individual mechanics be combined, or do they rule each other out?
We cover how the refund itself works on the 15% Cashback page.
Your payment method can decide whether you get a bonus at all
At many casinos, certain deposit methods are excluded from bonuses. Most often these are selected e-wallets or prepaid cards. The deposit goes through and the money lands in your account, but no bonus is credited.
The second rule is almost universal: the payment method must be in your own name. Your partner’s card or a friend’s e-wallet is grounds for a rejected payout, even with no bonus involved.
We do not list which methods, if any, are excluded at Dukat.bet, because we cannot confirm it. Look in the deposits section of the rules, or directly in the bonus terms, for phrases such as ‘excluded payment methods’.
Country of residence and your profile details
Bonus offers often vary by country. Some are open only to players from selected markets, others take a different form in different countries. What counts is the country of residence stated in your profile and confirmed by your documents, not the place you happen to be logging in from.
If you travel, bear in mind that logging in from another country can trigger an additional check. Using a VPN to get around geographic restrictions is routinely prohibited in casino rules.
Check the list of countries where the offer is valid in the official rules. We do not publish it.
Eligibility clauses in one table
The table sums up typical industry clauses. For each one, find the matching sentence in the Dukat.bet rules.
| Clause | What it means | Risk if breached |
|---|---|---|
| Age 18+ | Only adults may play | Account closed, winnings void |
| Identity verification | Documents must match the profile | Delayed or rejected payout |
| One bonus per person | Welcome offer only once | Bonus and winnings cancelled |
| One bonus per household, IP, device | Applies even to different people under one roof | Second claim rejected |
| First deposit | Offer tied to the first top-up | Entitlement lost |
| Excluded payment methods | Some deposits do not trigger a bonus | Bonus not credited |
| Payment in your own name | Account and method belong to the same person | Payout rejected |
| Country of residence | Offer only for selected markets | Bonus unavailable or cancelled |
Seven checks before your first deposit
- Fill in your profile exactly as it appears on your ID: name, date of birth, address.
- Have your ID and proof of address ready.
- Find out whether the rules limit the bonus per household, IP or device.
- Confirm that your payment method triggers the bonus and is in your name.
- Choose one mechanic and find out whether it can be combined with others.
- Check when the bonus has to be activated relative to the deposit.
- Save a dated screenshot of the terms in case they change later.
You will find more answers to specific situations in the eligibility questions. If you want to know how much time you will have to meet the conditions, see bonus deadlines.
Your bonus was refused. What to do first
First, ask for the exact reason in writing: which clause and which point of the rules. A generic reply along the lines of ‘breach of terms’ will not help you; you need a specific citation.
Then compare that reason with the wording of the rules in force on the day you activated the bonus. This is where the screenshot from step seven pays off. If the problem was an error in your profile, such as a typo in your address, supplying the correct document is often enough.
If you still disagree after support has replied, ask about the formal complaints procedure. Stay calm and keep everything in writing.
Above all, do not open a new account to get around the issue. That would only make the problem bigger.
